Motivational Speakers Should Earn their Authority

Regularly booked motivational speakers on the international event circuit will tell you that multitudes of wannabe motivational speakers plaque them for guidance. If you put those guidelines in a book, it will be a fairly thick one. Surely talent and desire plays a role, but actual time in the trenches of the workplace is most important. Some motivational speakers speak about topics on which they don't have any practical experience. This is not credible. How about a guest speaker that motivates a conference audience that are stressed out about corporate life, but has never been in the corporate world?
