Motivational Speakers and Employee Responsibility

Most motivational speakers share a theme of "employee care". This distinction can cause a misunderstanding. Responsibility for poor behaviour is not something to be ignored. Ask this helpful question: "Will it be in order with you, if I give you some tough feedback on something that you have done?"  Always keep the feedback focus on the actions and not on the individual. Difficult but honest feedback leads most of the time to rectified behaviour. Although "employee care" should persist as the most important message of all motivational speakers, it should not be implemented at the expense of organizational accountability.
